Quercus Nero D'Avola Dop Sicilia is the most important of the Nero d'Avola of the Pollara family.
Aged for 24 months in Allier and Never oak barrels, Quercus Nero d'Avola is the expression of elegance and balance, with a unique scent which reminds of Sicily.

Maceration in stainless steel tanks
Temperature: 24° C at the beginning of the process, 32° C at the end.
Duration: 10 - 12 days.
Malolactic: Yes.
Aging in oak: 24 months.
Type of barrels: Nevers, Allier.
Aging: in 225 liter barriques.

TASTING NOTE
A high-class wine, it has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The scent is complex and fragrant with hints of red fruit, black cherry and ripe plum mixed with citrus, carob and licorice. Its taste is persistent, fine and elegant, warm and dry.

ACCOMPANIMENT
Served at 16-18 ° C. it elegantly accompanies all important dishes with red meat houses and an ideal companion for aged cheeses.
