Quercus Cabernet

Among the first pure Cabernet Sauvignon produced in Sicily, Quercus is renowned for its personality and it has been awarded several times over the years. Purple-red in color, it has a complex and persistent aroma, reminiscent of blackcurrant fruits and spices.
The "Quercus Cabernet Sauvignon" is the tangible evidence that even international grape varieties have something important to say in the Sicilian wine scene.
During the harvest, the grapes are carefully selected and fermented for about two weeks. Aging then continues for 9 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Best served at 16-18 °C.

TASTING NOTE 
Characterized by an intense ruby red color, it has a typically Mediterranean scent with hints of wild berries and spices such as black pepper, tobacco, cinnamon and vanilla. its tasteis rich and elegant with persistent and soft tannins.

ACCOMPANIMENT
It is a wine for the whole meal to be combined perfectly with elaborate dishes of red meats, pork, lamb. Excellent on all types of game.
